Transfer Instructions For
Domain Names Registered Through Register.com
To point your domain name to our
name servers, you need to log on to Register.com's Domain Name
Manager and add our name servers (also called DNS servers) to
your domain name record. This is a simple process that only takes a
few minutes.
Here are step by step directions:

Click here to
access the Register.Com transfer page. This page will open up
in a new browser window so that this window will stay open and you
can refer to the instructions below as you fill out the form.
- On the first page, enter
your domain name, and the username and password you selected when
you registered your domain name. Then click the "Login" button.
If you have forgotten your password or username, click on the
"Forgot your password or user name?" link the bottom of that page
to have that information e-mailed to you.
- Your current domain name
record will be pulled up. Click on the "Modify DNS" link near the
top of the page. Replace the listed nameservers with the
following:
NS.nicgrabhosting.net
NS2.nicgrabhosting.net
NS3.nicgrabhosting.net
NS4.nicgrabhosting.net
You may get an e-mail message
asking you to confirm the changes you have made. That e-mail
contains directions on how to complete the transfer process. Make
sure you follow these directions, or the transfer may not process.
It generally takes 24 to 72 hours
for a change to your domain name record to take effect. Once the
change has taken effect, it will take anywhere from 1 to 7 days
for the changes to propagate over the entire Internet - once that
propagation has take place, your domain name will begin working.
