Note:
We charge these additional fees to cover the
costs of the manual effort required to make these changes and assure
that they work properly. We do not make any profit on these fees. The
fees are applied directly to the costs of maintaining our technical
staff.
When
changes are made to the (1) mail server
or (2) the DNS changes to support newly
created Branded Name Servers, there are, at times, additional problems
encountered that require additional diagnostic research. We have
found that on average, our technicians spend up to 45 - 60
minutes of their time to make one of the changes above including all
follow-up.
(3) When you decide to change the domain
name on an existing hosting plan,,
we must create a brand new hosting plan manually. We must
then monitor your migration of content from the old web site to the
new one. Once the migration is complete, we must close the
old hosting account and remove it from our servers. The
activities mentioned above can take up to 90 minutes.
(4) If you need us to install a
pre-existing website to your new hosting plan, as long as you have an
electronic copy of this web site, we can install it on your website.
This install does not include scripts. See item
(5) for script installs.
(5) If you need us to install a
pre-existing website, including Java, CGI, PL or PHP scripts to your
new hosting plan, as long as you have an electronic copy of this web
site, we can install it on your website.
(6)If
you need us to recover and install your pre-existing website to your
new hosting plan (not including scripts),we can perform this task as
long as we have access to your web site via the internet. This service
is useful if for example, you do not have you existing website source
code and you no longer have ftp access to your existing web host.
